OMV says Russia unlikely to stop gas exports
MOSCOW, Jul 28 (PRIME) -- Austrian oil and gas company OMV does not expect that Russia to discontinue gas supplies, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The company also said that in case of further troubles with gas deliveries from Russia, OMV may use gas from the storages. It also has access to the sources of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Europe while consumption is being regulated.
The company is working on raising imports from Norway and providing cross-border gas transportation capacities, including to Austria.
Supplies through the Nord Stream gas pipeline from Russia have decreased to 1.28 million cubic meters of gas per hour, or slightly less than 20% of the pipeline capacity, since 9:00 a.m., Moscow time, on Wednesday.
